XDD

Digital X-ray of the Highest Quality

Free-Standing

Digital Radiography System

X Dual Detector (XDD)

The XDD Compact System consist of a motorized elevation Table with floating table top and with electromagnetically dead-man brakes. A X-Ray tube column with motorized longitudinal movement and a fixed wall stand. High user friendly by foot switch controls table top brakes as well as Touch  Display for control of all other unit functions including automatic tracking. The XDD Compact System is prepared for installation of Bucky´s or Flat Panel Detectors.

Simple positioning in safe patient positions

X Dual Detector is a direct digital radiography system for obtaining images of patients in sitting, lying and standing positions. Software-integrated tracking functions and automatic tracking control ensure a high level of operating comfort and a comfortable position for the patient.

Convenient Special Settings

Compared to a ceiling mounted system, the X Dual Detector offers a number of advantages. The freely  pivoting vertical detector allows for optimal imaging positions for patients in wheelchairs, for example. The versatile design allows for – in addition to routine imaging – stress x-rays of the knee and ankle joints with the patient standing. Oblique views of up to 45 degrees are also possible.

A Unique System

XDD is floor mounted. It is composed of an imaging table with a floating tabletop and a vertical stand. A detector mounted under the table and a second, vertically-mounted detector allow for rapid, efficient work. This factory pre-assembled system is rapidly and easily installed in the customer’s premises. No elaborate ceiling constructions, complicated mounting technology or structural analysis is required. After a few hours of assembly, the system is ready for use.

Free Access in All Imaging Positions

The convenient imaging station is equipped with the latest technology such as automatic centring – the central beam follows the image detector both during table shots and images taken in the vertical position. The organ-oriented imaging presets, in combination with image optimization filters, enable a confident, immediate diagnosis to be made as soon as the results are displayed.

Easy To Use, Luminous Display

The instant digital image technology with organ-optimized image settings makes the workstation especially costeffective.

The images are acquired via software-assisted, digital X-ray detectors. The image receptors are latest-generation digital flat panel detectors, which permit a very low dose. The resulting images are high-quality, precise and of high luminosity

Image Capture and Processing

The imaging, reporting and archiving software is the heart of any digital X-ray system. Here, Roesys offers practical, user-oriented convenience and high workflow capability, based on its years of experience in direct digital radiography. Each image is an optimal combination of a low dose with a detailed, organ-optimized display.

The workstation is configured according to the most up-to-date DICOM communication standards. Once the study is completed, images are available on all linked viewing stations of the facility – e.g. in the treatment room, the ward or in offices. The workstation can also be connected to existing information systems. Moreover, customer-specific HIS or RIS systems can be fully integrated.
